Mobile Hotspots

T-Mobile Hotspot Lending Program

The CorryPublic Library T-Mobile Hotspot is an easy-to-use, mobile hotspot that connects your tablet, laptop and other Wi-Fi–enabled devices to the Internet.

You can connect up to 10 devices to 4G LTE and 3G networks. Visit the T-Mobile Coverage Map for your area to confirm coverage.

How do I check out the device?
Stop by the Corry Library or use your Library card to place a hold and check it out just like any other item.

Who can check out it out?
Adult cardholders with a Corry Public Library Card or another library card valid in Erie County card can borrow a CPL T-Mobile Hotspot.

How long can I keep it?
You can borrow it for 10 days. Overdue hotspots will have Internet access deactivated within 24 hours beyond their due date.

Can I reserve a hotspot to check out for a particular date and time?
No.   You can place holds on the hotspots, but we cannot guarantee their availability for a specific date or time. Hotspots are available on a first-come/first served basis like all our Library materials.

Can I use the hotspot outside of the U.S.?
No. The hotspots only work in the U.S.

Can I use the hotspot to send/receive text messages?
No. Texting/SMS messaging is not available.

How do I return it?
We prefer if you return the device with all the original packaging and accessories at the circulation desk inside the library.

Can I renew it?
No

How much does it cost?
Borrowing and using the device is free! It is a $1.00 per day late fee. If the device is lost or damaged beyond repair, a $140 fee will be charged to your Library account.

What information about my Internet usage, if any, is tracked by the Library?
Your Internet usage is not tracked by the Library. While using the library’s hotspot you are governed by the same rules as our Internet Policy.

What if I don’t return the device?
Failure to return the device after one week will result in the Library sending your account to collections.
